Merit Based Institutional Scholarships
ESU institutional scholarships range from $1,000 to Full-Tuition Awards for Fall 2025!
The Office of Admissions automatically reviews candidates for merit award eligibility during the admission application process. If eligible for a merit-based scholarship, you will receive a scholarship notice following your acceptance. All merit scholarship amounts will be included in your financial aid award letter.
Scholarships are provided on a funds-available basis, so apply for admission early.

profile.

From $1000 to full-tuition scholarship

No Need to Apply! You are automatically considered when your admissions application is submitted to ESU and processed. Late applicants will be considered on a funds-available basis.
Renewal Criteria
You can earn this scholarship every year by earning 30 credits per academic year with a qualifying GPA.
Transfer Student Scholarships
Incoming transfer students could be eligible based on their academic profile

From $1000 to $6000 yearly scholarship

International Merit Based Scholarships

Band Audition Scholarship
All first-time Pennsylvania students who join the Warrior Marching Band.
