What is a Living Learning Community?

Living–Learning Communities (LLCs) offer students the benefit of living with others who share similar academic or special interests.

At ESU, our LLCs serve as the hub of activities beyond the classroom, promoting student engagement through meaningful dialogue and activities critical to their academic and personal success.

Faculty from various disciplines work with residence life staff to plan and implement programming and academic initiatives for LLCs throughout the academic year.

Students within the LLC benefit from events specific to the LLC theme, leadership development opportunities, guest speakers, and much more.
