Program Overview
The vision of the Advanced Clinical Practice model is to enable Certified Athletic Trainers to improve their clinical knowledge and skills through a specific program of advanced clinical practice and scholarship.
A primary objective of this program is to prepare the student for employment requiring advanced knowledge and skills, and to make the student a potential candidate for specialty certifications through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and other allied health- and fitness-related associations.
