On Friday, January 27, 2017, President Trump signed an Executive Order that included a number of measures impacting persons seeking to enter or re-enter the United States. Reaction across the country and around the world continues to evolve, with fast-moving developments, varying interpretations and confusion.

Current international students at ESU may or may not be directly affected. All ESU students and community members, whether US citizens or not, stand to benefit from learning details of this recent presidential action, as well as its implications and up-to-the-minute interpretations by government officials.

This webpage serves as a point of departure to clarify certain basic aspects of the Executive Order. Readers are encouraged to continue exploring this and other sites to gain further information as it becomes available.
