East Stroudsburg University offers students federal and state grant awards. These grant options can be applied to educational expenses and do not require repayment.
These funds are awarded in accordance with the intercollegiate athletics and NCAA rules and regulations. Recipients are selected by their Head Coach based upon athletic achievements and abilities.
Federal Pell Grant
Awarded to undergraduate students who have exceptional financial need and who have not earned a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree; in some cases, students enrolled in a post baccalaureate teacher certification program may receive a Federal Pell Grant. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Awarded to undergraduate students who have exceptional financial need and who have not earned a bachelor’s or graduate degree. Federal Pell Grant recipients receive priority. Each college is awarded a limited supply of this grant and it is best to complete the FAFSA early to be considered. This award can reach up to $1,000 each academic year. Pennsylvania State Grant (PHEAA)
This program is available to eligible Pennsylvania residents who are enrolled in an eligible undergraduate program of study at a Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) - approved post-secondary institution such as East Stroudsburg University.
