Due to the core area congestion the first two weeks of classes, commuter students and main campus resident students displaying a current permit or expired permit from the previous semester, may park in lots for which the current permit is or the expired permit was designated. After the first two weeks of classes, expired permits from the previous semester will no longer be valid.

  • Commuter students and main campus resident students not displaying a current or expired permit the first two weeks of classes whose vehicles are parked in the following core area lots will be subject to ticketing for failure to display a permit: C6, C7, C8, C9, C10, C11, C12, C23, C25, R26, R27, R30, C31, and R32.
  • During the first two weeks of classes only, commuter students and main campus resident students not displaying a current or expired permit from the previous semester whose vehicles are parked in non-core area lots will not be ticketed: CR38(A), R38(B), CR40, CR52, CR53, Mary Street Lots 43 and 44, and R42.
  • University Ridge Apartment residents may only park their vehicles on main campus the first two weeks of a semester midweek from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and on weekends from 3:30 p.m. Friday through 2:00 a.m. Monday, providing they are displaying a current University Ridge permit or an expired University Ridge permit from the previous semester. After the first two weeks of classes, expired permits from the previous semester will no longer be valid. All University Ridge Apartment resident vehicles parked on main campus prior to 3:30 p.m. midweek are subject to ticketing. This includes the first two weeks of classes.
  • Students are not permitted to park in a Faculty/Staff (FS) lot at any time including the first two weeks of classes. The only exception to this regulation is commuters and main campus residents displaying a valid parking permit may park in Lot FS20 behind the Hoeffner Science-Technology building midweek from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am and on weekends from 3:30 pm Friday to 2:00 am Monday.
