Grant Opportunities

ESU encourages faculty and staff to explore several avenues for funding their research projects, including external sources such as government agencies, private foundations, and other grant-making organizations.

Internal grants are disbursed from ESU to faculty and staff members to support their research efforts. Some internal grants, such as Out of the Box, and the Faculty Development and Research (FDR) grants are funded by the Office of the Provost.

Both internal and external grants require diligent preparation although the submission process varies. The OSPR will help faculty and staff determine which type of grant may suit their research needs and guide them in developing appropriate proposals for that specific opportunity. Interested in finding external funding? Please fill out and submit this online form to initiate the process. Please review the Quick Reference Guide to help you with the grants process or review the Project Lifecycle that explains the steps involved in submission.
