Graduate Programs
The History and Geography Department offers two graduate programs.
The M.A. in History helps students hone their historical skills, particularly in the areas of research and writing. It allows students to obtain professional certification, advance in history-related careers, or move on to a Ph.D. program in history.
The M.S. in General Science focuses on the application of geotechnology such as GIS and GPS to environmental science. Graduates can apply what they learn about geospatial technology, environmental management, and leadership to a variety of public and private careers.
Please see the specific pages for each program for more detailed information.
