Academic Dismissal Appeal

For your appeal to be considered, you must submit a personal statement and a letter of support from a faculty or staff member at ESU. You are also able to submit any additional supporting documents that you feel may be significant to your appeal. If you appeal does not contain a personal statement and a letter of support, it will not be considered and your appeal will be automatically rejected.

Your personal statement must contain the information listed below:

• What is your major, and why did you decide on this major?
• Do you plan to change your major if reinstated to ESU?
• To what do you attribute your past academic performance?
• Why do you feel that your academic record will improve if reinstated to ESU?
• What steps will you take, or have you taken, to enhance and improve your academic performance if reinstate to ESU?
