The Warrior Marching Band is one of the fastest growing student organizations on campus!

It all started in Fall 2005 when the Warrior Marching Band made its return to ESU's Eiler-Martin Stadium for the first time in over 20 years.

That season the marching band was creatively nicknamed "The Pep Band That Marched", which consisted mostly of flutes. Now, the marching band is reaching its goal of having the "Marching 100!"

The Warrior Marching Band performs during the fall season at all home football games and select away games (including all playoff games) and helps support the Warrior Football Team on their way to victory.

The band has also performed in the Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Marching Show in Allentown, Sounds of the Valley Exhibition at Pleasant Valley High School, Soundfest at Nazareth Area High School, Northampton High School's Festival of Bands, Bangor High School Band Festival and Pocono Mountain East High School Music Over The Mountains.

Every year the Warriors host an annual ESU Band Day during a select home football game and join ranks with other bands from across the state to perform a special show.

Come be apart of our exciting traditions, ear catching stand tunes and mesmerizing shows!

This student group presents a number of opportunities for those interested in leadership positions to help perpetuate the Warrior Marching Band traditions and contribute new traditions as well.

Possible leadership opportunities include Drum Majors, Color Guard Captain and Lieutenant, Section Leaders, and Equipment Managers.

The Warrior Marching Band Season starts in August with mandatory Band Camp.

Practice times during the semester are Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:15 - 6:15 PM and before games on Saturdays. It is advised for students to schedule classes and any outside functions accordingly.

All students who participate in Marching Band are eligible for Warrior Band Spirit Scholarships (amount determined by attitude and participation), other scholarships depending on level of participation, and for the newly established Kathryn A. Mullins Memorial Band Scholarship.

All students interested in participating or having questions, should contact the Department Leadership to get and give any necessary information.
