Warrior Marching Band
ESU Warrior Marching Band
The Warrior Marching Band is the face of ESU, representing the university across the region. As a forward looking marching band, we welcome performers of all types for our innovative productions - Winds, Percussion, Guard, Singers, Pianists, Orchestral Strings, Rock Guitars, and Dancers!
The Warrior Marching Band performs during the fall season at all home football games and select away games (including all playoff games) and helps support the Warrior Football Team on their way to victory. The band regularly performs at national and regional events as well, including the Intercollegiate Marching Band Festival, the US Bands Class A National Championship, and exhibitions at numerous local high school contests across all circuits.
The Warrior Marching Band Season starts in August with mandatory Band Camp.
Practice times during the semester are Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. and before games on Saturdays. It is advised for students to schedule classes and any outside functions accordingly.
All students who participate in Marching Band are eligible for Warrior Band Spirit
Scholarships (amount determined by attitude and participation), other scholarships
depending on level of participation, and for the newly established Kathryn A. Mullins
Memorial Band Scholarship.
If you are interested in being a part of the band, please either audition for the
scholarship using the button on the right, or fill out this form so we can contact you with more information as we prepare for Fall 2022. If you have
