University Bands Officers

University Bands Officers contribute a substantial amount of time and effort towards University Bands. Each position listed below is a big commitment and is regarded highly throughout University Bands. Those selected to hold these positions make it a priority to achieve new levels of dedication, skill, and fun for the ESU Band Program. Each Officer has proved to have the means to help advance this program.

University Bands President: Jamee Haney
Jamee Haney is a junior majoring in English with a concentration in Professional writing and a minor in philosophy. She plays the French Horn and Mellophone, and she will be serving this year as the University Bands President. Her favorite parts about being in the bands at ESU include the music and performing with others who love music. Band is a Family.

University Bands Vice President: Amanda Kalberer
Amanda Kalberer is a senior majoring in Early Childhood Education with a certificate in Crisis Intervention. She plays the flute and piccolo, but will be serving as this year’s Head Drum Major and Vice President. She loves being a part of the University Bands here at ESU because there are so many opportunities to grow, both musically and personally. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

University Bands Secretary/Treasurer: Michael Shen
Mike Shen is a last semester senior majoring in Communications, He plays percussion and piano. This year, he will be serving as the Secretary and Treasurer on the University Bands Executive Board. His favorite parts of being involved in the bands at ESU include the camaraderie, the bonds he has made, and the music that he is able to play in band.

University Bands Drum Major: Amanda Kalberer
