Expanding learning opportunities for students beyond the traditional classroom and encouraging life-long learning are vital to creating a "university without walls." ESU invests in its faculty in ways that enable them to redesign the academic experience for our students.

BIG RESEARCH CAN COME FROM SMALL PLACES

Relative to our size, a lot of exciting research is taking place.

There are a large number of projects and investigations taking place on campus at any time. Over 200 students are annually active in research on campus taking advantage of opportunities and undertaking research with our highly skilled faculty.

Our Dr. Jane Huffman Wildlife Genetics Institute is one of the BIGGEST of its kind in the United States and the only one in Pennsylvania.

Clear Path II, a National Science Foundation S-STEM award, is the BIGGEST award at $5M supporting students in STEM fields and researching the environments that help with student success.

There are BIG opportunities for our students!
