Policy Statement:

Students who are having roommate problems, or wish to move to an alternate room where a vacancy exists may request a room change.

Room change requests will be considered only within the same room rate housing structure, or from traditional halls into the suite halls.

Due to differential room rates and auxiliary accounts for types of housing, room requests for changes from the suites to traditional halls, or from University Ridge to either the suites or traditional halls, will not be granted unless approved through the formal written housing appeal process.

Reason For Policy:

The policy allows current students to request a room change.

Appeal Statement:

Students may submit a written appeal to the Director of Residence Life and Housing.


Auxiliary Account: Account funded exclusively by student fees and receives no financial institutional support for the services offered.
