The M.Ed. in Elementary Education Program at East Stroudsburg University is sponsored by the Early Childhood and Elementary Education Department. It is a unique program that involves an arrangement we refer to as dual delivery.

What is Dual Delivery?

With dual delivery you choose either the online section or the campus section for each of your courses. Both sections meet at the same time. The only difference between the online sections and the campus sections is that, rather than meeting on campus, the online sections of the courses meet in the Live Classroom, where you can see and hear the professor and the other students, and they can see and hear you.

Why Dual Delivery?

We believe that it is important for students to be actively involved in our classes; we also understand that it is more convenient for many students to take courses online, particularly when they have long commutes to campus. This is why we adopted the dual delivery system. With this system students get the full classroom experience, even when they are in the online section, and they do not have to commute. It is clearly the best of both worlds.

Is There Any Flexibility in the Online Schedule?

Yes, if you have to miss part or all of a class session due to extenuating circumstances you will be able to make up the missed time by watching the class archives. Simply contact the course instructor to discuss this arrangement.
