Tick Survey
Lyme disease (LD) is caused by the tick borne bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi and, in 2013, accounted for >90% of all reported cases of vector borne illness in the United States. Aside from anecdotal and indirect evidence, little empirical evidence exists regarding what the U.S. public knows, says, or does about preventing LD
The results of the survey will be used to assess the views and understanding of Lyme Disease by residents of the commonwealth.
