Dear Alumni and Friends of the College of Health Sciences,
We hope you are well and staying safe in these very challenging times. I am grateful for the opportunities I've had thus far to meet with you and celebrate the growth and success of our college and East Stroudsburg University. I am, of course, disappointed that I won't be able to meet many more of you in our previously scheduled alumni events. As you likely have heard, all College of Health Sciences courses transitioned to online for the remainder of the spring and the summer sessions. All other services have been placed online as well. The faculty have been completely immersed in delivering their courses online and helping students to complete their spring studies, in spite of the trials we are all subjected to at this time. I want you to know, I am so proud of all our faculty who are, as you know, completely dedicated to their students success.
We know that many of you are working on the front lines of this pandemic, and we have heard stories of courage and strength from some of you, and we hope you will continue to share with us. At the time I am writing this letter, the worst seems to be over for our region, but I know we still have far to go. We have some of the best healthcare providers available working to protect our communities and the northeast region. We are all experiencing enormous challenges in our personal and professional lives, and you are very much in our hearts and minds.
The situation continues to change day-by-day, so you can stay up to date on all of East Stroudsburg University's responses to the crisis.
I hope that you all are protecting yourselves, as you work for the benefit of others. I hope that we will get to see each other in the near future. Your continued support and engagement mean a great deal to all of us. Please stay in touch, and we wish all the best to you and your families.
