East Stroudsburg University is fully invested in ensuring that men are academically and socially successful during their time as a student.

The Men of Color Alliance (MOCA) was established to support the transition and transformation of men entering and persisting at the institution. With the intent of fostering inclusion within the immediate campus and surrounding communities, MOCA serves as a development system that prioritizes mentorship, academic excellence, self-awareness and student engagement in an effort to create and maintain a sense of belonging at East Stroudsburg University. Ultimately, MOCA contributes to the institution's interest in achieving higher satisfaction, retention and graduation rates amongst men.

MOCA is operated by a team of administrators and student leaders that are connected to the daily experience of men at ESU. With diverse interests, professional backgrounds and campus affiliations, MOCA administrators provide direct support to all students that participate in the program throughout the year. MOCA exists to educate men through scholastic, cultural, and social programming while contributing to the recruitment, transition, and retention of men in higher education.

MOCA is open to all ESU students, and we actively encourage students of all backgrounds to participate and engage in the program.
