Earth Day 2014!

Have you ever stopped to think about how much the Earth does for you? Don't you think it is time to return the favor? Join the East Stroudsburg University community on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at their 2014 Earth Day event. The event will take place on the Quad, from 12 noon to 4 pm (Rain location: Keystone Room).

Earth Day was established for the purpose of bringing awareness to environmental concerns, instilling an appreciation for nature's role in our lives, and to encourage a sense of action to conserve and protect nature's frailty.

For more information, please email or call Madeline Constantine at and (570) 422-3334.

As part of activities for this year's Earth Day event, there will be electronics recycling. There will be a dumpster located in the parking lot behind Laurel Hall, to drop off electronics. Please review the list below for the type of acceptable items you can bring for recycling. A list of unacceptable items is also included at the bottom. Download the list here.
