Teacher Certification

If you want to make a positive impact on others, enjoy people and be innovative, education is a great field. The PSED department prepares secondary teachers for grades 7-12, and world languages for grades PK-12 at the graduate level. The graduate teacher preparation program is for the student who already has a BA or BS, but is not a certified teacher.


Graduate & Educational Leadership Options - M.Ed. & Ed.D. Options

The M.Ed. and Certificate Programs have a common core delivered by experienced instructors and administrators. Programs include: Professional, National Board, Principal Certification, Coaching, Physical & Adaptive Physical Education.

The ESU doctorate in Educational Leadership is research-based and practical. The executive cohort model provides the scheduling flexibility and support needed by working professionals. If eligible, candidates can earn their PA Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility.
