We appreciate your questions, concerns, and feedback. In accordance with the Americans with Disability Act (1990) faculty is to provide reasonable accommodations in a timely and confidential manner without altering the fundamental nature of the course. Accommodation requests may be denied if student does not have a letter of accommodation from OASIS verifying a disability and need. Faculty may report concerns or issues associated with accommodations directly to OASIS at (570) 422-3954.

Accommodations are individualized for each student. Faculty may see a variety of accommodations including Note-taking support, extended time or distraction reduced environment for academic assessment (i.e. tests, quizzes, exams etc.), video captioning, audio transcripts and alternate format materials. In addition, our Faculty/Staff Handbook will serve as a resource to you, and may answer many frequently asked questions.
