As part of a concerted and collaborative effort to address sexual violence here at ESU, Wellness Education and Prevention and the Gender and Sexuality Center are co-sponsoring an exciting new discussion group: SexPositive. Its main goal is to provide a forum for ESU students (and only ESU students) to discuss issues and ways to recognize individual sexual agency. This group will be facilitated by the Peer Educators in the Wellness Center as well as students in the Gender and Sexuality Center.
Previous topics have included: dating in an online world, erotic poetry, open relationships, the "friendzone" the sexy side of body positivity, and embracing your identity.
