Self Help Resources
CAPS provides numerous self-help resources for students that range from informational websites to apps on a variety of important topics related to college life and taking care of your mental health.
Self-help materials are NOT meant to be a substitute for therapy but can be an excellent source of information to help individuals with mental health concerns or needs. Please realize that it is always advisable to verify the accuracy of what you read on the Internet by consulting other independent and reliable sources, including the professional staff at CAPS. None of the resources are affiliated with or endorsed by CAPS.
If you have personal concerns that you would like to discuss, please contact the CAPS at (570) 422-2377 during business hours (Monday and Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
Students in need of urgent psychological assistance after hours should call University Police at (570) 422-3064.
