Guaranteed Tuition Scholarships for Out-of-State Residents

Out-of-state, undergraduate students will now be guaranteed one of our tuition awards approved for East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) by the Board of Governors for the State System of Higher Education.

The Out-of-State Tuition Award, The Students First Tuition Scholarship, The Award for Competitive Excellence, and the Students Majoring in Math, Science or Technology offer out-of-state undergraduate ESU students the opportunity for tuition savings of more than $14,000 - $28,000 while earning an undergraduate degree in just four years.

Eligibility

New and current undergraduate, out-of-state students may qualify for either The Out-of-State Tuition Award, The Students First Tuition Scholarship, The Award for Competitive Excellence, and the Students Majoring in Math, Science or Technology opportunities.

Please note, you are not able to receive both The Out-of-State Tuition Award, The Students First Tuition Scholarship at the same time.

While all out-of-state students will qualify for The Out-of-State Tuition Award, The Students First Tuition Scholarship, The Award for Competitive Excellence, and the Students Majoring in Math, Science or Technology has more stringent eligibility and renewal criteria related to academic performance.

The Out-of-State Tuition Award, Students First Tuition Scholarship, The Award for Competitive Excellence, and the Students Majoring in Math, Science or Technology are applied directly to tuition and involve no cash transactions. The value of the tuition award will be adjusted whenever the Pennsylvania resident tuition is changed. Tuition award amounts above are based on a full-time enrollment status and eligibility criteria require non-Pennsylvania resident, undergraduate enrollment status. Tuition awards may not be combined. Micro-scholarships earned from ESU on raise.me are included in these awards.
