Fall Extended Learning 2019
Fall 2019 Extended Learning
The academic calendar is divided into fall and spring semesters of approximately 15 weeks each and summer and winter sessions of varying length. The last week of the fall and spring semesters is set aside for final examinations.
The holidays and vacations observed by the university are noted below. Spring break is the week following the spring semester midterm.
Session A1, 8 Weeks (August 5- September 28, 2019)
August
- 5 Extended Learning A1 Courses Begin
- 10 Last Day to Drop A1 Course as No Grade
- 10 Last Day to Add A1 Course
- 11 A1 Withdraw (W) Grade Period Begins
September
- 7 Last day to Withdraw (W) from A1 Course
- 26 Grade Links Open for Faculty
- 28 A1 Ends
October
- 3 Faculty Deadline to Submit Final Grades to Registrar's Office by 9:00 AM
Session AA, 9 Weeks (August 5 - October 5, 2019)
August
- 5 Extended Learning AA Courses Begin
- 10 Last Day to Drop AA Course as No Grade
- 10 Last Day to Add AA course
- 11 AA Withdraw (W) Grade Period Begins
September
- 7 Last Day to Withdraw (W) from AA Course
October
- 3 Grade Links Open for Faculty
- 5 AA Ends
- 10 Faculty Deadline to Submit Final Grades to Registrar's Office by 9:00 AM
Session AB, 9 Weeks (October 7 - December 7, 2019)

- 7 Extended Learning AB Courses Begin
- 12 Last Day to Drop AB Course as No Grade
- 12 Last Day to Add AB Course
- 13 AB Withdraw (W) Grade Period Begins
November
- 9 Last Day to Withdraw (W) from AB Course
December
- 5 Grade Links Open for Faculty
- 7 AB Ends
- 12 Faculty Deadline to Submit Final Grades to Registrar's Office by 9:00 AM

December
- 5 Grade Links Open for Faculty
- 7 A2 Ends
