The GSC offers Students Opportunities for Leadership and Personal Development that will prepare them to be successful future professionals
The GSC strives to empower our students to become confident and empathetic adults by creating opportunities that strengthen their critical thinking skills, cultural competence, and emotional intelligence.
We provide programs and services that highlight the importance of accepting and supporting different identities and teach them how to become advocates for themselves and others. We aim for all our students to believe in themselves and their abilities to make a positive impact on the world.

Alumni Committees
The GSC oversees two alumni groups:
- Feminist Alliance Alumni
- PRIDE Alumni
If you are interested in joining either group, email Genise Valcourt with the group you’d like to join. The alumni groups host events to bring ESU alumni back together to continue empowering each other to be our best selves.
The GSC works to provide support and mentorship to all clubs who reach out to the GSC.
For example, the GSC provides meeting space for clubs and offers financial support to upcoming club events and programs.
