The ESU Student Veteran Center is a one-stop shop where students can receive information from admission to graduation.
The School Certifying Official (SCO) is available to assist with VA Education Benefits.
Virtual Veterans Center
The Virtual Veterans Center is a great place to meet other military affiliated students. The center is hosted on Zoom by Veteran Work Study Students who are able to answer questions or have someone contact you immediately with an answer.
Virtual Veterans Center Schedule:
- Mon: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
- Tues: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., 12:30 - 4 p.m.
- Wed: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
- Thurs: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Fri: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Course Scheduling Preference for Veteran Students
Veterans receiving “course scheduling preference” will be assigned the first registration date and time within their respective class level: graduate, post-baccalaureate or undergraduate.
Students, who have identified themselves as being veterans, as defined below, will automatically receive a priority registration PIN. Students who believe they are veterans as defined above and who have not yet identified themselves as such should submit a DD214, to the Assistant Director of Veterans Services and Records, located in Zimbar Hall, Room 160.
Act 46 of 2014 requires public institutions of higher education in Pennsylvania to provide veteran students, as defined in the Act, with preference in course scheduling. Non-compliance may be reported to the Pennsylvania Department of Education by submitting the Higher Education Complaint form.
In accordance with the Pennsylvania “Higher Education Course Scheduling Preference for Veteran Student Act,” the definition of “veteran student” to include the following groups of students:
Any student who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including a reserve component and National Guard, and was discharged or released from such service under conditions other than dishonorable.

The Veterans Center is located in Zimbar Hall, Room 160 and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The office is a designated Green Zone which indicates that this a safe space for military. When you enter the room you will be greeted by a Veteran work study student and the school certifying official is close by to answer questions.
The area has a comfortable, homey space to hang out and relax. Enjoy interacting with other military students. The Veterans Center includes
