Life at ESU

We’re More Than a Campus. We’re a Community.

You’ll discover that every student matters at ESU. Our community is the heart and soul of the institution and our Campus Life and Inclusive Excellence teams have created activities and opportunities for Warriors to thrive from day one.

What does it mean to thrive?

Life beyond your coursework is up to you. Whether you participate in varsity athletics or cheer from the stands, create your own student club, or lead through community service, our school spirit is unrivaled.

  • Our Residential Life & Housing challenges all residents to be responsible for the development of self, their communal relationships, and the campus community.
  • The Gender and Sexuality Center promotes a perspective that allows students to learn and grow in a warm and welcoming space for all.
  • The Center for Multicultural Affairs and Inclusive Education works with students on identity development, awareness of diverse cultures, and respect for cultural diversity.
  • Our Greek Life community centers "service" as one of their core values.

With over 100 clubs and organizations and diverse programs and initiatives, there is always something to do at ESU.

What are you most #excited for coming to ESU?

Engagement and Belonging Are Not Just Words. They’re Actions.

You belong at ESU, and we believe in supporting the entire experience. Our engagement and belonging programs are for everyone—students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Whether growing together through multicultural events and education or supporting and learning from each other through our intellectual interests, personal affinities, cultural, faith, or spiritual traditions, ESU invites exploration through actively sharing life on campus with each other.
