Research & Innovation

SciTech

ESU offers undergraduate, graduate, and faculty research opportunities and a diverse array of creative activities that the campus community members originate, appreciate, and celebrate.

A strong current of creative research and innovation energy runs through ESU — from faculty, to graduate students, to undergraduate students. It’s so strong that it has brought in millions of dollars of grant funding to support that inquiry and with it, our students.

Beyond the classroom, in every discipline, many students at ESU enhance their educational experience by participating in student-initiated research or creative activity and/or by assisting faculty in their research and creative projects.

Centers and Institutes

In addition to traditional academic programs, ESU furthers its academic, business, and community-serving pursuits through its array of Centers and Institutes.

Research Centers and Institutes at ESU consolidate research and activity from a variety of disciplines to focus on an interdisciplinary area of study.

Bringing a more robust Center and Institute culture to ESU improves our relationship with our larger community for those who would like to use our services.
