We’re looking for engaged and thoughtful students to lead inclusive, meaningful conversations as part of the Diversity Dialogue Project (DDP). If you're passionate about connection, dialogue, and community-building at ESU, we want to hear from you.
Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate
- Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Genuine interest in fostering inclusive dialogue and building community across diverse backgrounds. - Strong Communication & Listening Skills
Ability to lead respectful conversations, listen actively, and promote narrative-based storytelling. - Leadership & Facilitation Skills
Confidence managing group dynamics, navigating sensitive topics with respect, and maintaining a mature, professional presence.
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Good academic standing and adherence to ESU’s student code of conduct
- Completion of required training
Availability for scheduled sessions and meetings

About the Positions
- Student facilitators will be responsible for leading small-group conversations with other students.
- The program assistant will be responsible for coordinating DDP sessions and assisting with DDP research.
