Welcome to the Center for Student Engagement and Belonging!
The Center for Student Engagement and Belonging is dedicated to fostering student development, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging among East Stroudsburg University students.
We provide programs that support personal growth, encourage meaningful connections, and create opportunities for students to engage with one another. Through these initiatives, we cultivate a welcoming community where students can learn, grow, and thrive together.
Our mission is to create an environment where students can explore, grow, and discover their potential. Through meaningful experiences and connections, students will develop the confidence to lead, the skills to collaborate, and the mindset to embrace lifelong learning. As they navigate their journey, they will build relationships that inspire growth and shape their path toward success in an ever-evolving world.
To further the University’s mission and goals, the Center will empower students to engage in holistic learning opportunities that will build a platform for lifelong learning in a global society.
We are committed to supporting student success by fostering engagement, personal growth, and academic achievement. We strive to create an environment where all students feel supported in reaching their goals and completing their educational journey.
We invite you to hold your meetings at the Center
The Center welcomes all students to our communal space. Within the center, there are:
- Two community spaces for students to stop in to relax and build community; these spaces can also be reserved by students and student organizations
- The administrative offices of the director and assistant director that students can visit during schedule meetings or open office hours
- A small library of Book club readings and additional literature/reading resources that can be read within the center or signed out with approval
