The Warrior Startup Challenge is your chance to transform your business or business idea into a real-world venture,
sharpen your entrepreneurial skills, and compete for cash and in-kind awards!
This student business plan competition is open to all ESU students, regardless of
major. Whether you’re just curious about entrepreneurship or already working on a
business, this competition will help you refine your ideas, develop essential business
skills, and gain valuable experience presenting to real investors and business leaders.
How It Works
- Round 1 – Submit 2-minute Video Pitch.
- Opens: August 25, 2025
- Deadline to Submit: Midnight, November 16, 2025
- Round 2 – Submit Business Venture Profile.
- Opens: January 20, 2026
- Deadline to Submit: Midnight, March 1, 2026
- Round 3 – Finalists pitch live to a panel of Judges/Investors.
Eligibility Requirements
Open to matriculated undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time or part-time
at East Stroudsburg University during the Fall 2025 semester.
- Proposed businesses can be either a for-profit or not-for-profit venture.
- Must own the intellectual property related to the product or service you plan to submit.
- If you already started a business, you can still participate, provided your business
has not received or generated more than $10,000 in total revenue or funding
