ESU Mathletes Summer Camp will take place from June 22 – June 25. Registration deadline is June 15, 2026

Do you enjoy solving puzzles, exploring patterns, and discovering clever strategies in mathematics? Curious about competitions like the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) and American Mathematics Competitions (AMC 10 and AMC 12).

Join us this summer for a 4-day camp focused on creative problem-solving and mathematical discovery. Designed for students entering grades 9–12 this Fall with background in Algebra I or above, the program helps build confidence, strengthen reasoning skills, and prepare students for AMC competitions and advanced mathematics. The skills developed in this camp also support success in school math courses and standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT.

Students will explore algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics through engaging lessons and collaborative activities.

Whether you are new to math competitions or looking to improve, this camp will challenge and inspire you. Cost of the Mathletes Camp is $200 (lunch will be provided and the cost is included in the registration.

The camp is led by ESU mathematics faculty Xuemao Zhang, with support from an ESU undergraduate student assistant.

Students entering grades 9–12 in the upcoming fall who have completed Algebra I or above.
