Working on the business plan for Hestia's Hearth was a valuable challenge that taught me a lot. I learned that through collaboration, and the use of everyone’s unique talents, we could accomplish something that, at first, seemed nearly impossible. It definitely wasn’t easy, and we needed guidance along the way—but with your support, it turned out to be much more achievable than I ever expected. Your trust in us led to belief in ourselves and a desire to work hard so we would not let you down.
In general, I don’t prefer in-person classes because of the scheduling challenges
that working and attending school causes, but your class stood out. The inconvenience
of commuting and extra time that takes, was far outweighed by the benefits of the
learning environment you created. Your contagious energy and dedication made a lasting
impact on me, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to have learned from you.

Your passion for business combined with your genuineness and real understanding of cultural competency created a classroom environment that was both inspiring and inclusive. You also introduced me to many opportunities on campus that helped expand my knowledge base and pushed me to challenge myself in meaningful ways. I especially enjoyed the International Food Festival and I appreciate all your efforts to put that together.
Attending your office hours—especially during our Organizational Strategy class—was incredibly helpful. To be honest, I never really enjoyed on-campus classes because of the commuting distance
and the challenge of fitting them in with my work schedule. But I always looked forward
to yours, I knew that coming in for your class would be worthwhile, motivating, and
