Welcome to OASIS
Empowering Students. Enhancing Access. Building Community.
At East Stroudsburg University, we believe disability is a valuable aspect of our campus diversity. The Office of Accessible Services Individualized for Students (OASIS) partners with you to ensure you have full access to everything ESU has to offer—both in the classroom and across campus life.
Whether you need academic and/or housing accommodations, or simply a supportive sounding board to help you navigate your college journey, you belong here. We are here to collaborate with you, advocate alongside you, and provide the individualized resources you need to thrive.
Welcome to the ESU Family!
Your Journey Starts with the New Student Support Program
Transitioning to college is a massive milestone, and you don’t have to navigate it
alone. To ensure a smooth, successful start to your ESU journey, all new OASIS students
are automatically registered for our New Student Support Program.
What to Expect in Your First Semester:
- One-on-One Partnership: You will meet individually with a dedicated OASIS staff member who gets to know your unique goals, strengths, and needs.
- Guided Navigation: Together, we will help you map out your first semester, understand your accommodations, and connect with campus resources.
- Individualized Support: Whether you need tips on time management, strategies for communicating with professors, or just a familiar face to talk to, we are in your corner.
There are no extra forms to fill out or hoops to jump through—once you are with OASIS, your built-in support system is already waiting for you. More importantly, these meetings are a chance for us to listen and learn from your experiences, ensuring we continue to evolve and provide the exact services and support you need to succeed.
