Step 1: Complete CITI Training

• All principal investigators and any key personnel must complete CITI training prior to submitting an IRB application.
• Log onto: https://www.citiprogram.org/ to complete the training. You will be able to create your own username and password.
• Failure to complete the training means the application will not be approved.

Step 2: Start IRB Application

• Upon successful completion of the CITI training, you can start the IRB Research Protocol Review application below.
• You will have the ability to save and resume your application.
• During the application process you will be required to upload documents. Please have the following documents prepared and ready to be attached to the application
• If you are using non-campus personnel, provide approval letter from Provost
• Abstract of your area of study
• CITI Certificates of completion if applicable
• Permission letters for location research if applicable
• Any documents used for recruitment if applicable
• Debriefing form if applicable
