Our admission counselors will answer your questions, help you complete your free ESU admission application, review your transcript, and tell you all about our transformational education opportunities. Just bring your most up-to-date high school transcript!

What is Apply in July?

Apply in July is an early application event geared towards giving students a head start in the application process. By participating in this event, you can get a non-commitment admission decision from East Stroudsburg University within 2-3 weeks into your senior year.

Dates for Apply in July will be posted during Spring 2026. In the meantime, feel free to explore our programs and reach out with any questions!

Submit your application through the ESU website or the Common App. After applying, don’t forget to request that your official high school transcript be sent directly to our Admissions Office. This ensures we have everything needed to begin reviewing your application.

Attend one of our Open House programs to get an in-depth look at life at ESU. During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to tour our beautiful campus, meet with faculty from your areas of interest, and connect with Admissions representatives who can guide you through the application process and answer any questions you may have. It’s a great way to see if ESU is the right fit for you.

Be sure to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your eligibility for federal financial aid, including grants, loans, and work-study opportunities. If you're a Pennsylvania resident, also complete the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) application to be considered for additional state-based aid. Submitting both forms early ensures you receive the maximum financial support available to help fund your education at ESU.

Regularly check your email for important updates from ESU, including your admissions decision. Our Admissions Office will send key information about your application status, next steps, and important deadlines directly to the email address you provided. Make sure you check your inbox (and your spam or promotions folders) so you don't miss any exciting news or required actions.

 

Join us for the Admitted Student Celebration in the spring of your senior year!
This special event is your chance to experience the excitement of being an official Warrior. Meet future classmates, connect with faculty and staff, explore campus resources, and get a feel for student life at ESU. It’s also a great opportunity to ask questions, finalize your decision, and celebrate this important milestone with your family and fellow admitted students.

Take the final step toward joining the Warrior family by submitting your enrollment fee and setting up your Warriors Connect Portal account.
Paying your enrollment fee secures your spot at ESU and unlocks access to important next steps, including housing, orientation, and class registration. Once your fee is submitted, create your Warriors Connect Portal account to stay updated, complete required forms, and track your progress as you prepare for your first semester. This is your gateway to becoming an official member of the ESU community!

Make sure to register for ESU’s mandatory New Student Orientation, held during the summer before your first semester.
Orientation is your official welcome to the Warrior community and an essential step in preparing for college life. During this event, you’ll meet fellow incoming students, connect with faculty and staff, learn about campus resources, and finalize important details like your class schedule and student ID. It’s also a great way to get comfortable with your new environment before classes begin. Don’t miss this exciting and informative experience!

After you graduate, contact your high school and ask them to send your final official transcript directly to East Stroudsburg University. If you’ve taken any dual enrollment courses or AP exams, be sure to request that those official transcripts or score reports are also sent to ESU. These documents are essential for confirming your academic record and awarding any college credit you may have earned.

Whether you plan to live on campus or commute from home, this step is essential to finalize your enrollment at ESU. If you're living on campus, the Housing Application helps us match you with a residence hall and roommate preferences. If you're commuting, the Intent to Commute form lets us know your plans so we can support your experience accordingly. Be sure to complete this step as soon as possible to stay on track for the upcoming semester.

This exciting event marks the beginning of your life as a Warrior. During Warrior Welcome, you’ll settle into your residence hall, meet your fellow classmates, and participate in fun and informative activities designed to help you transition into college life. It’s your first big step into the ESU community, and we can’t wait to welcome you!
