The Minor in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management allows students across East Stroudsburg University to enhance their major degree with additional exposure to one of the largest and dynamic industries in the world.
Students will be introduced and prepared to enjoy a successful career in the travel and tourism industry. The program integrates fundamental hospitality knowledge directly relates to hospitality and tourism industrial practices. The program is further enhanced through activities supported by the hospitality industry such as hospitality facility tours, industry guest speakers, and special projects working with industry professionals.
The Minor in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management is open to non-Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management students only. The required core courses (12 credits) provide students an overview of the industry, while elective courses (6 credits) provide students with advanced knowledge and certificates to enhance their skill sets across different segments of the industry.
