What Distinguishes ESU's Public Administration & Policy Program?

The Master of Science in Management and Leadership - Public Administration & Policy (MML-PAP) is a 33-credit program done in conjunction with the department of Business Management.

The MML-PAP provides a pre-professional and professional development program for the purpose of graduating competent, responsible, and ethical public servants committed to governmental and non-profit public service.

Combining coursework from business management and political science, faculty offer both theoretical and practical approaches to the challenges of supervision and directing government activities and policies in areas such as health, education, finance, labor, justice and international relations.

The program focuses on enhancing management skills and decision-making abilities as well as providing specific knowledge of organizational behavior, leadership, policy analysis and strategy.

Students completing the program will gain proficiency in public budgeting, personnel management, organizational leadership, public policy and research methods.

The Public Administration & Policy concentration in the Master of Science Degree in Management and Leadership prepares Graduates to be leaders in the public sector.
