Graduate Programs
Students interested in earning a Master's degree in Political Science at ESU can choose from two different degrees to tailor their studies to fit their interests and career goals:
Master of Arts in Political Science - Students interested in earning a doctoral degree in Political Science or pursuing careers in such areas as elected officials, campaign managers, lobbyists or as change agents in politics, government, education or international relations choose this path to fulfill their career ambitions.
Master of Science in Management and Leadership in Public Administration & Policy - This path allows students to become organizational leaders in both the public and private sectors. Some interesting careers include analysts or agents for the FBI/CIA, personnel managers, budget analysts, public affairs research analysts and urban and regional policy planners.
Why should you choose a graduate degree from ESU?
Both programs are distinctive our approach to students. With the goal of engaging students one on one, faculty create a mentoring environment that develops strong student/faculty relationships. A culture of open give and take encourages students to expand their intellectual horizons. In addition, the department fosters diversity and many international students call ESU home.
