Finding the Way of the Warrior

ESU has greatly impacted the person I am today. The EXSC program uses multiple learning methods, urging us to not only focus on what we know but also to think outside the box to resolve complex issues and focus on the why. This has positively impacted how I look at the healthcare industry and my career.

Where Your Path to Success Begins

ESU's location in the Pocono Mountains, in the middle of a hub of healthcare institutions, is ideal for our Exercise Science students. Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono is right next door and St. Luke's University Hospital is right down the road. You're just minutes from your clinical experiences, and you'll participate in state-of-the-art clinical care under the supervision of knowledgeable and dedicated faculty. In addition, our EXSC faculty and students provide strength and conditioning to our 22 NCAA Division II athletics teams, supporting more than 500 Warriors.

Students are exposed to contemporary clinical and sport performance settings to best prepare them for professional school and/or fast-paced career opportunities.

  • Career Opportunities

    • Exercise Science students can enter the workforce as sport performance, health coaching, wellness and strength and conditioning professionals. In addition, EXSC students move to professional schools to obtain terminal degrees as clinicians in PT, OT, PA and Chiropractic Sciences.
