The Global Health certificate program provides a foundation in public health training for interested students in majors related to public health, and students who want to officially show specialization in the area of Global Health in their education, such as psychology, sociology, political science, Pre-med and Pre-PA.

The Global Health certificate program provides a foundation in public health training and would enhance a student's chance of obtaining a job in a Public Health Department in a large City like New York, and at the state, federal, and international level.

It would also enhance a student's opportunity to get into a Masters Program in Public Health, especially if they are non-Public Health majors.

This certificate would also complement students who are interested in International Relations or understanding Health Problems that effect many countries worldwide.

This certificate programs can be taken by students in all majors, including Public Health students.

This certificate program will allow students to show an area of concentration on their transcript.

We encourage all students to consider this certificate as a way to increase knowledge about this areas of study which may lead to work in a Public Health related area.
