Online K-12 Teaching Certificate & Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Online Instruction Endorsement

Prepare yourself to teach engaging lessons in online or blended learning environments. The ESU program is unique. We have professors that have been working in online education since 2004 to the present day within a wide variety of virtual K12 schools. We also collaborate with CIU20 to meet different credit needs. The courses are convenient, providing valuable interaction with peers where you examine real issues in education. The online program can be completed in one year.

All courses can be fully integrated into the partner programs in Professional & Secondary Education M.Ed. & Instructional Technology M.Ed. Most other ESU, M.Ed. programs can utilize some or all the credits as electives.

  • First, students examine learner diversity and strategies to enhance student presence.
  • Then, students learn to use many technology tools for engagement and complete the instructional design process, including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.
  • Last, students analyze data using learning analytics and create assessments for a variety of goals, with an emphasis on authentic and meaningful experiences.
