Join Commuter Council for its annual Retreat and show your siblings how much fun Warriors can have outdoors. The overnight event includes a bonfire, food, glow-in-the-dark capture the flag, a challenge course, and other activities. Due to limited space registration is required in the SAA Office (University Center, Room #223). Minimum age is 13 years old. This event is free for ESU students and the first 30 siblings to sign up. Glow & flow yoga is more than just a yoga class! Wear white or fluorescent clothing, as the room will be filled with black lights. We will provide you with glow sticks and glow in the dark body paint! Glow and flow yoga is filled with stretching and yoga postures to help increase flexibility as well as relax and strengthen the mind and body. This class is open to all levels and families are welcome! Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your preferred session and ask for a ticket from the front desk.

As part Family Weekend, please bring a donation of any non-perishable food items and toiletries for our Warrior Food Pantry. The Warrior Food Pantry is a program to support students that are in need of a food source during the academic year. This initiative was developed out of the need to ensure that students can obtain necessary food for their well-being. Participants will be entered in a giveaway.

Ahnert Alumni Center for the annual Pinning Ceremony with President Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D. Families and students will receive a special pin inducting them into the ESU Legacy Program and have a photo taken with the President.

The Pocono Chamber of Commerce (Pocono Leaders of Tomorrow, Committee), the East Stroudsburg Community Alliance, and the Borough of East Stroudsburg invite all students, families and friends to Pickle Me Poconos 2019 on Crystal Street in East Stroudsburg (just a few blocks away from campus). Admission to Pickle Me Poconos is FREE, and we’ll have plenty of vendors serving up crafts and food items for you to enjoy. The event will consist of ropes course/challenges that give families the opportunity to work together to solve problems while building group cohesion with other families.
