HPW_PhotoI am a mammalogist in the Department of Biological Sciences at East Stroudsburg University.  I have broad interests in the biology of mammals and other vertebrates, including their natural history, conservation, morphology, and systematics.   At ESU, I teach Mammalogy, Conservation Biology, Introductory Biology, and the non-majors course Human Ecology.  These courses are described in the page on my teaching interests.  I also have an active research program that involves undergraduate and Master’s students, and I have students doing research both in the laboratory and in the field.   Some of this research is described in the page on my research interests.  Finally, the page on Graduate Students describes opportunities at ESU for prospective graduate students interested in mammalogy.
