CRT (Culturally Relevant Teaching) often comes with the misconception that it is merely about teaching in the classroom using multicultural activities and social justice lessons. It is, however, much more. It is a mindset that opens individuals up to challenge their own biases while cultivating a foundational readiness to build not just a culturally responsive classroom, but an entire school. Join us to discuss ways we can build toward greater responsiveness, competence, and awareness through dialogue, activities, and explorations of personal positionalities.
