
Public Service Broadcasting of Live-Televised Events
Course: DMET 210, 310, 410
Students utilize their studio production skills to produce a three to four-day live televised auction or telethon for a local organization such as the Pocono Medical Center/Hughes Cancer Center, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Red Cross, and ESU’s own Warrior Sports.
Impact At A Glance
During the 2016 PMC/Hughes Cancer Center auction, the students’ assistance helped the Hughes Cancer Center auxiliary raise $30,000 dollars; a $10,000 dollars increase over the previous years.
