Course: DMET 210, 310, 410

Students utilize their studio production skills to produce a three to four-day live televised auction or telethon for a local organization such as the Pocono Medical Center/Hughes Cancer Center, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Red Cross, and ESU’s own Warrior Sports.

During the 2016 PMC/Hughes Cancer Center auction, the students’ assistance helped the Hughes Cancer Center auxiliary raise $30,000 dollars; a $10,000 dollars increase over the previous years.


To Our Students:

  • Students are able to apply their craft through on-air productions that enhance and reinforce their pedagogical training
  • Students crew all production areas of these live events
  • Opportunities are provided for real-world technical experience in various production roles

To Our Community:

  • Provides local organizations the opportunity to have public service programming provided for them by our students
