International Students in DMET and Instructional Technology Background Information
There are currently 66 international students from 21 different countries at ESU. They know about ESU via various ways: searching online, as athletes, knowing from government connections, family connections, or their home university connections.

STEM field for International Documents: 24-Month OPT STEM Extension
International students who graduate from colleges and universities in the United States are able to apply for a 12-month Optional Practical Training (OPT). International students major in a STEM-Designated Degree Program are able to apply for the 24-month extension while in a valid period of OPT.
The M.Ed. Instructional Technology program here at ESU qualifies as a STEM program with SEVIS, meaning that the international students who study in this program are able to engage in a 36-month of full-time, employment after they graduate.
