Your Steps to Spring 2022 Enrollment

Have you made the decision that ESU is where YOU belong? This checklist provides the essential information and details you need to take your next steps and prepare for the upcoming semester.

More information can also be found by accessing our Frequently Asked Questions page.

1) Accept Offer of Admission

To reserve your place in the Spring 2021 entering class, submit your $300 new student enrollment fee. Early submission is recommended because the payment enables you to register for courses, Orientation and apply for on-campus housing. Refer to your offer-of-admission letter for the enrollment fee due date. Enrollment fee refund requests are not refundable after December 1. Visit the enrollment fee page to submit the fee. Log in with your ESU Student ID Number (provided on your offer-of-admission email and letter) and your birth date as your six-digit PIN. (For example, if your birth date is July 5, 1999, use 070599.) Once you log in, select the “Deposits” tab and follow the instructions.

2) Activate Your ESU Email Account

Within a few days of submitting the enrollment fee, you will receive information on how to set up a password for your ESU email account and MyESU Portal. Need help? Contact or (570) 422-3789.

3) Set Up MyESU - Your Dashboard to Remaining Checklist Items

MyESU is a single sign-on portal that helps you manage your University business by providing access to your education record and to multiple sources of campus information. Your user name is the portion of your ESU email that precedes the @ sign. (For example, if your email address is, use ewarrior2.) Need help? Contact or (570) 422-3789.

4) Apply for Financial Aid

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and include East Stroudsburg University (school code 003320) as a recipient of the information. For information, visit Financial Aid website or call (570) 422-2800.

5) Apply for Housing

Most first-year students live on campus. Unless you are commuting from the home of a parent or guardian, housing is required for students who reside more than 45 miles from ESU. Regardless of where you live, to enjoy the benefits of residential campus living, apply for housing by January 11, 2021 via MyESU to secure a room. Afterwards, housing is subject to availability. For information, visit reslife page or call (570) 422-3460.

6) Register for New Student Orientation

Register at MyESU. For information, visit orientation page or email

7) Course Registration

Early course registration will begin in October for those students who have accepted their offer of admission by submitting their enrollment fee. You may change or add classes during Orientation.

8) Submit SAT/ACT Scores

If you have not sent your SAT or ACT scores to ESU, do so now. These scores will be used for course placement. Those students who do not provide test scores will be required to take the English Accuplacer Exam and/or Basic Mathematical Skills Competency Exam. The ACT code for ESU is 3700. The College Board (SAT) code is 2650.

9) Credit for Prior Learning

Submit your previous exam results, if applicable, for college credit evaluation. Visit College Credits for Exam/Tests for information on Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), College Level Examination Program (CLEP) or Defense Activity for Non-traditional Education Support (DANTES).

10) Send Final Transcript

Submit your final, official high school transcript, with graduation date shown, to: East Stroudsburg University, Office of Admissions, 200 Prospect Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301-2999.
