J. J. Brennan Award for Theatre Excellence
This $250 scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior with a minimum QPA of 3.0. The candidates must have demonstrated a commitment to the theatre program at East Stroudsburg University along with clearly indicating the intention of pursuing a career in theatre professionally and/or academically.

Cecilia S. Cohen Memorial Theatre Award
Named in memory of Cecilia S. Cohen, this $50 award is given to a full-time student who has demonstrated a high level of proficiency in the theater arts and demonstrated a high level of service to the theater programs at ESU. The recipient must have completed at least 30 credits at ESU with a minimum QPA of 3.0 in theater courses.

Phoenix Players Performance Service Scholarship
This $125 scholarship is awarded to a full-time student who has completed at least two semesters at East Stroudsburg University with a minimum QPA of 3.0 in theater courses. Recipient must demonstrate a high-quality level of theatrical performance either on-stage or backstage. The recipient will work throughout the school year to maintain the spirit and performance efficiency of the theater program and must perform each semester in a production, either on-stage or backstage.

Dale Snow Memorial Award
Established in memory of professor Dale Snow, this $50 award is given to a full-time student who has completed at least 30 credits at East Stroudsburg University with a minimum QPA of 3.0 in the major. The recipient must have demonstrated a high level of proficiency, professionalism, and continuing commitment to theater and/or speech communication arts at East Stroudsburg University.

Excellence in the Arts Award
The Society for the Arts offers annual scholarships at the end of Fall semester in the areas of theatre, music, art, and dance. These prestigious scholarships are for combined academic and artistic achievement and come with a $250 financial award.

Jean and Walter Ball Musical Design/Technical Theatre/Stage Management Annual Scholarship
Established by Dr. Margaret Ball in honor of her parents Jean and Walter Ball to ESU Freshmen majoring in Musical Design/Technical Theatre/Stage Management.  Amount of the award varies.

Dr. Irene Mitchel Theatre Endowed Scholarship
Established by Dr. Irene Mitchel, Professor Emeritus of the ESU Art Department in memory of her beloved parents, John and Anna Petruska Mitchel, to assist students at East Stroudsburg University studying theatre, encouraging academic and artistic achievement and a love for learning.  Amount of the award varies.

Musical Theatre Annual Scholarship
Established by Louis Terracio, Ph.D. to assist East Stroudsburg University students who are active in the university's musical theatre productions.
