I teach courses in individual and group counseling, psychological testing, health psychology, and cross-cultural psychology. My research interests and scholarship focus on effects mental health stigmas, cultural factors in suicide behaviors, and adjustment to stress. Lastly, I try to emulate the scientist-practitioner model by combining teaching, research, and psychotherapy services.
